LeGrand William Fry

LeGrand William Fry, 43, passed away on February 11, 2025. He was born on October 20,1981 in Hollomon AFB, New Mexico to Dale Willis Fry and Marilee Margaret Wilson Fry. He married Kristina Dietz on April 11, 2008 in the Seattle Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 

LeGrand was a devoted husband and a loving father who cherished his family. He adored his children and found joy in every moment he spent with them, striving to guide them with wisdom, patience, and unwavering love. A true adventurer at heart, he found peace in nature, whether hiking through the mountains, camping under the stars, or simply taking a quiet walk. His passion for learning never faded, and he shared that love of learning with those around him. LeGrand had a rare gift for connecting with people. His kindness knew no bounds, and his warmth was felt by all who knew him. He didn’t just teach about love and kindness; he lived it every day, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, wisdom, and a belief in the goodness of others.

LeGrand Fry is survived by his wife Kristina Fry and their three children Lyla, Josiah and Ezra Fry of Springville, Utah; his parents Dale and Marilee Fry of Yelm, Washington; his brothers Nathan Fry of of Lexington, Massachusetts; Derek Fry of Brookline, New Hampshire; Joseph Fry of Spanaway, Washington; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Natalie Fry.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00am in the Hobble Creek 7th Ward Chapel located at 1965 Canyon Rd, Springville, UT 84663. A viewing for friends and family will be held just prior to the service from 9:30am - 10:30am at the church. Burial will be in the Historic Springville City Cemetery following the funeral.
