Leann (Despain) Binks

Leann Despain Binks was born April 9th, 1968, in Melbourne, Australia.  She was adopted by Donley and Gloria Despain at just five days old.  Leann’s parents were on a building mission for the LDS Church.  They returned two years later to Orem, Utah, where she attended Scera Park Elementary and graduated from Orem High School.

Leann had twin boys with her husband Wayne R. Binks in 1986.  She was a fun, happy-go-lucky mom who always had the time, energy and love to lavish on the boys, Zachary and Sidney.

She worked in the medical field for many years as a Medical Assistant for several doctors in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.

Leann passed away at home on February 19th, 2023 in her sleep from complications with an extended illness.  Leann lived in Springville, Utah, with her husband Wayne.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27 at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah, at 1:00 pm.  A luncheon will follow the services at the Springville Senior Center located at 65 East 200 South.  Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

She was loved and will be missed by all.
