Lauralee Lansing Jackson, age 75 of Mapleton, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born February 4, 1941 in Provo, Utah to James Peter William Lansing and Ila Johnson Lansing. She married RJG and later divorced. She married Larry Lee Jackson May 24, 1991.
Laura worked as a lunch lady for many years. She enjoyed fishing, going on long drives to many places; one of her favorites was the majestic mountains in Payson Canyon; crocheting, puzzles and word finds. She had a bucket list of getting a rock from all the states in America and she accomplished that a few weeks before her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Lee Jackson, Mapleton, UT; Ila M. Scott (Mike), Pleasant Grove, UT; Jamie Peterson (Terry) Giles, Provo, UT; SaraLee Ungricht (Steve) Payson, UT; Ron Lansing Green, Orem, UT; Eric William Green (Tonya) Ogden, UT; Teresa Lyn Boren (Dave), Orem, UT; Brother, Richard Anderson (Annetta) Delta, Colorado; And a few other kids they helped out throughout the years. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Ila Lansing; a sister, Patsy Jean; and a brother, Earl Jared.
There will be a celebration of life held at a later date at the church in Mapleton when it is all set up.
