Kirk Edward Snow, age 83, passed away peacefully, June 1, 2013 at the Heritage Home in Preston, Idaho. He was born October 27, 1930 to Perry Edward and Pauline Oveson Snow in Ferron, UT. He was married to Kaye Jenkins, October 31, 1947 until her death, January 12, 1990. He then married Helen Bartlett, April 7, 1990.
He is survived by his wife Helen; 3 daughters: Linda K. Sanders (Wade), Susan M. Wolsey (Peter) and Lisa D. Lowery (Carl); 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers: Gene Austin, Brent and brother-in-law Edward Jenkins; 5 stepchildren: Linda Weston (John), Cindy Allen (Tom), Nancy Christiansen (Steve), Pam Uttley (Brooks) and Bill Bartlett (Taeko), plus many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kaye; brothers: LuDene, Paul; sister, Geneva; son, Wayne; grandson, Lynn Sanders; and in Laws, Clyde E. & Estella F. Jenkins.
He loved his family very much and his friends. He was an active member of the LDS Church and his community in Springville and Salt Lake. He worked at Geneva Steele for 30 years.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
