Kent was born October 28, 1950 to Marvin "Mog" and Rhea (Johnson) Warren. He passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 due to injuries sustained in a glider crash.

Kent lived an adventurous life filled with friends and family, who all have stories to tell. He was born and raised in Springville, Utah and attended Springville High School (class of 1968). After High School Kent was in the National Guard, he also built, sold and flew hangliders (which he crashed in 1972), he was a ski instructor at Sundance, drove a beer delivery truck, worked for the city of Springville, and was an avid mountain biker, runner, and skier until his knees gave out. He loved to take trips with his family, be outdoors, and always had a beautifully landscaped yard. He was always building things, and loved to learn.

He married Liza Belmont in 1977 and had 3 children: Rachel, Melissa, and Samuel. They separated in 1990, and became close friends. He married Victoria Stubbs in 1991 and gained another son, Benjamin and step-daughter Amanda. They separated in 2005. His adventurous spirit and his love to share his life with family and friends never faltered.
