Kenneth (Ken) Nichols 64 of Orem passed away on Wednesday June 16th, 2021. He was born on May 27, 1957, to Annette and Myron Nichols. He married Patricia Barzee on April 17, 1977.
Ken’s interests were wide ranging but he had a love of fishing, football, and firearms that he shared with his family. He was a father of three children and grandfather of three grandchildren all of which he loved very much. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of his lord and savior throughout his life.
Kenneth is survived by his spouse Pat of Spanish Fork, and his son Christopher (Diane) and their children Rachel, William, and Zachary of Riverton, and daughter’s Alicia and Sara of Spanish Fork.
At this time there are no funeral services planned for Kenneth. He was clear in life on his desire not to have a funeral and to have his remains cremated. His family is honoring his wishes. We hope to plan and hold a celebration of life event later in the Summer/Fall of 2021, where his ashes will be dispersed according to his wishes. His family will get information on the date and time of this event out via phone and social media as soon as possible.
The family would be appreciative of any donations that can help cover the costs of the cremation and related services. If anyone wishes to donate, they may do so either through Venmo @Dinosauria or you may mail a check to Christopher Nichols 1479 W 12485 S Riverton, UT 84065. We greatly appreciate all help at this difficult time.
