Juanita Beesley Mellor

Springville - Juanita Beesley Mellor passed away peacefully at the age of 83, at her sons home on Monday, June 22, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born to Emma Brailsford and Richard Tucker Beesley on November 25, 1925 in Provo, Utah. She married her sweetheart in 1944 and was later sealed in the Manti Temple.



Juanita spent her entire life in service to others. She was a devoted wife to her husband Delbert and loving mother to her children. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She gave service to her Heavenly Father in many church callings. Juanita worked as a nurse for 25 years with Doctor Glen B. Orton and 11 years at the Utah Valley Hospital Blood Bank. She was very talented with her hands and created many beautiful things. Her family will miss her dearly.



Juanita is survived by her children: Eddie (Margo) Mellor of Mapleton, Utah and Deborah (Bryan) Jacobson of Hurricane, Utah; a sister, Leah (Dennis) Holt of South Jordan, Utah; 6 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert and a sister, Rteen (Wayne) Cutler of Springville, Utah.



Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Spring Creek South Stake Center at 350 N. 400 E. in Springville. There will be a viewing held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville and at the church on Friday one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
