Beloved son, father, and brother Joshua Brian Phillips, 31, of Spanish Fork, passed away Friday, August 14th, 2020 of complications due to Type 1 Diabetes. He was born to Brian and the late Cindy Phillips November 24th, 1988.
Joshua was an incredible artist and writer. He has tons of sketch books filled with his art and poetry that he shared with everyone when he could. Many friends and family members have originals of his writings and sketches. His art expressed what he was feeling in that moment in time. He also loved to play guitar and was in many bands throughout his high school years. He made friends easy and cared for everyone around him. Some words that have been used to describe him: funny, good sense of humor, artistic, kind hearted, loving, caring, sarcastic, and a genuine soul.
He is survived by his two beautiful children Aaron and Zoey, father Brian (Pam), and siblings Melinda, Thomas (Jessie), Nichole (Geoffrey), Hannah (Taylor), Michael (Sarah), Katelyn, and 2 nephews and one niece. He is preceded in death by His Guardian Angel Mother Cindy, Grandparents Carolyn and Blaine Phillips, and Grandmother Annette Nichols.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to www.jdrf.org in honor of Joshua.
