May 31, 1976 — November 2, 2016

Our beloved husband, dad, son, brother and friend, Jesse Jay Taylor, age 40, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
He was born May 31,1976 in Provo to Thomas and Pamela (Boswell) Taylor. He graduated from Springville High, class of 1994. He married the love of his life, Mailee Gates on July 10, 2004. Together they had two amazing daughters.
Jess was a talented tile setter, owning his own business for many years providing customized tile work for his customers. He had a love for music and was a talented musician and vocalist. Jess could pick up the guitar and play by ear when he wasn't composing his own songs. He loved the outdoors and camping with his family and friends. Jess was always willing to lend a hand to anyone with his many talents and abilities to build and fix just about anything.
Jess was never without a dog at his side. His trusted companions were always considered family. His most treasured time was spent with his wife and two girls. He was their biggest fan and supporter whether it was as a parent helper at school or a fan at a soccer game, dance competition or gymnastics. Jess was highly supportive of Mailee for all of her personal and career aspirations.
He is survived by his wife Mailee and daughters Adalyn and Josie of Spanish Fork. His mom Pamela (Chris) Morgan of Delta, brothers Harris (Melissa) Taylor of Lehi and Samuel Taylor of New York, his grandmother Mary Boswell of Goshen, his loving aunts and uncles, brothers and sister in laws, countless cousins, nieces, nephews and life long friends. He was preceded in death by his dad, mother-in-law (Connie Sumsion) and grandparents (Clint Boswell, Jay and Margaret Taylor).
