1937~2013
Jerry Lyle Fullmer, 75, was born in Brawley, California, on November 6
th
, 1937 to Oscar Carlile (Lyle) and Nannie Bessie Harp Fullmer. He passed away on May 27, 2013 in Provo, UT. He married Theada Richardson, they later divorced. He later married Leina 'ala Ka'ohunani in 1982, she preceded him in death on September 13, 2000 in Martinez, CA.
Jerry proudly served our country in the United States Marines. He raised his children to always be on time or early to work and to do every job as if it was for yourself. He taught them about good work ethics.
He had a great passion for fishing and hunting and started his kids out early to enjoy the great outdoors. When fishing he kept only the fish that were going to be eaten. If you killed something it was meant for food. He and Tracy always had quite a good time when they went ground squirrel hunting. He was a proud member of the NRA.
He worked for and retired from PG&E (Pacific Power, Gas & Electric Company of California) after serving as a Marine. He was a loving man and very generous towards everyone. He enjoyed helping others in time of need. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He will truly be missed.
Jerry is survived by 2 girls: Candie and Tami; 2 boys: Tracy (Glena) and Michael; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren (even the one he hadn't met yet) even though at times they were miles apart. He is also survived by his 2 brothers: Gary (Karen) and Richard (Tanya) and his sister, Vickie.
