Jerry Lynn Crapo

Jerry Lynn Crapo, age 48 returned to his Father in Heaven, October 14, 2007 in his home, after a lengthy battle with his health. He was born on July 13, 1959 in Provo Utah, to Ida Maxine Chidester and Elmo Garn Blood. At the age of five, Jerry was officially adopted by his Step Father, Ray Crapo.



Jerry was the oldest of five children. He had two brothers, Lorrin Crapo and Jason Crapo, and two sisters, Sarah Crapo and Sandy Blood.



Jerry served his country honorably, in the Army from the age of 17 to 20 and deeply loved his country. He found much joy with his wife and children. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and four wheeling in his truck, looking for lost Spanish mines in the mountains, horse back riding and was an avid reader. He had a passion for learning and loved nature and animals, including the many pets that they have had over the years.



Jerry was preceded in death by his infant daughter Rabecca and his father Elmo. Jerry is survived by his Mother, Step Father, his brothers and sisters, his wife Jessica Menlove Crapo and his children: Cassiey Crapo, Jennifer Crapo, Rachel Crapo, Jeremy Crapo, Alexis Wright, Bethany Wright and Dusty Crapo.



Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Church at 1000 West 1200 North Mapleton.
