Jeannette was a self-proclaimed Air Force brat, which provided her opportunities to live in Florida, North Dakota, West Germany and New Mexico, where she graduated from Alamogordo High School. After high school, her family moved to Mapleton, Utah, where she met her best friend and eternal companion, P. Joe Knight. They were married in the Manti, Utah Temple on February 5, 1994.
Jeannette was a very creative and talented artist. She enjoyed designing and sewing clothing, painting and sketching. She had a passion for antique books and book repair and was well known for her stylized fish drawings. Jeannette loved being in her flower gardens, hiking and camping. Although Jeannette wasn't blessed with children of her own, she had a deep love for her nieces and nephews.
