Mary "Jeanine" Salisbury passed away in the morning on Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born June 27, 1929 in South Gate, California to Mary Acenith and Vernon J. Thomas.
Jeanine grew up in California and graduated from South Gate High School. She met Bill in high school and they were married on June 25, 1951 in Las Vegas. She and Bill were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. In the 1960's Jeanine and Bill moved to Springville, with their four children, where she has been a resident since.
Jeanine started painting over 30 years ago. She was always looking for a good picture to paint. Jeanine liked to sew and she also enjoyed crocheting. She sang with the Musettes for several years. Jeanine was an avid reader and enjoyed learning about everything. She also liked to do genealogy and would research until she found the name she was looking for.
She is survived by three children, Rick (Vickie), Caryn Teuscher (John) and Jim (Jan). She has 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, daughter Cindy, her parents and her brothers, Vernon and Terry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Hobble Creek 8th Ward Chapel, 2379 East River Bottom Rd, Springville, UT. Friends may call on Wednesday, at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT from 6 to 8 p.m. or Thursday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Eppich and Provo Dialysis staff, Reid's Park Place and Candy Eash for their special care of Mom.
