1918 ~ 2013
Jeanette Wall Jackson (94) joined her sweetheart in the early morning hours of June 13, 2013 in Mapleton, UT. Jeanette was born July 21, 1918 in Myton, UT. She married William Junius Jackson on July 21, 1943 in the Logan Temple. Together they were actively involved in serving their family, each other and the Lord. She served faithfully in numerous callings especially as a temple worker at the Provo Temple for over two decades.
Jeanette was a feisty and energetic mother of nine children. She taught us of righteousness and moral agency as well as helping us to be responsible citizens. She was a loving, practical and hardworking homemaker. She and Dad were a team. They worked hard together to allow each of us to fulfill our talents and succeed. They both valued education and family. Topping it all, they loved each other truly & tenderly.
She was preceded in death by her eternal companion; her parents (Eldwin C. Wall & Hazel Miles); three brothers (Fred, Earl & Hal); her sister (Ruby Weber); two grandsons (Andrew Deither & David Jackson) & one great-grandson (William A. Jackson).
She is survived by her sister (Isabella Evans); children: Susan, Phyllis (George), Edwin (Esther), Betty, Bruce (DaraLee), Paul (MaryLee), Robert (Milana), Lois (Robert) & Mary; 50 grandchildren & 86 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton North Stake Center, 475 N 1600 W, Mapleton, UT. Friends may call on Friday, June 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville; and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.The family wishes to thank the hospice workers & extended family who served Jeanette so faithfully the last few months of her life.
