Jean E. Smith passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 3, 2014. She was born on March 22, 1918 to William Thomas and Mary Alice Phillips Eddy in Springville, Utah. She married Ted Albert Smith on August 9, 1940. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple. She was very active in her church service.
They resided in Springville, Utah until 1993 when they moved to Washington, Utah. Her husband preceded her in death. She was residing at the Legacy Retirement Center in South Jordan, Utah at the time of her passing.
She has 2 children: Phil (Ann) and Kathy (Jay), 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Her family has always been very important to her. She especially cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was admired and respected for her caring and loving spirit.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jean's life on Monday, December 8, 2014, at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville, Utah. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
