1929~2013
Our beloved Mother and Grandmother left us to join her family in Heaven on July 19, 2013. Jean was born to Berl & Edna Boyer on Dec 27, 1929, in Springville, Utah, where she loved growing up, learning, living & raising her family. She married Lofter Clair Bowen in Spanish Fork, Utah on her birthday in 1947. They were later sealed for time and all eternity on Aug 26, 1958, in the Salt Lake Temple.
She lived her whole life in service to Jesus Christ in countless capacities as mother, friend & neighbor. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she especially enjoyed Primary, Scouting, Relief Society & Family History. She was a dedicated member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She thrived on discovering her heritage & sharing these stories with her family & Camp Cottonwood sisters. She will be deeply missed by her loving family & all whose lives she touched.
Preceded in death by her eternal sweetheart Clair, baby daughter Mary Ann, grandson Charles Nielsen, son-in-law Reed Nielsen, parents, siblings, many aunts, uncles & cousins.
