Janice Carol (McGee) Wilbur Harper of Pleasant Grove, Utah, left her earthly home on January 7, 2022, to be reunited with her eternal companion, Clayton Vance Wilbur, Jr. She was born in Seattle, Washington, on January 18, 1937, to Harold Eugene and Clemina Carol (Van Orsdel) McGee. Jan and Clay were married on January 21, 1955, in Redwood City, California. After Clayton's death in 2006, she married Denver C Harper in 2007, who predeceased her in 2015.
After joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1971, she enjoyed serving in many capacities. She was a dedicated family historian and loved learning about her ancestral roots. She and Clay had 51 happy years together and, over the years, loved square-dancing, bowling, and traveling the country in their 5th wheel camper/trailer. She was a wonderful mother, loved dearly by her 3 children. She had a special place in her heart for her canine friends.
She is survived by her children Terri (Bruce) Harper, David (Brenda) Wilbur, and Steven (Troi) Wilbur; 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. She will miss her family and friends but always looked forward to this joyous reunion that awaited her. A big thank you to Valeo Hospice Services for the great care she received.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East in Springville. Condolences for the family may be expressed on this page.
