Jane Lucille Bagley Jensen

Jane Lucille Bagley Jensen, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the age of 93. She was born October 8, 1916 in Springville, Utah to Joseph Bagley and Emma Spafford Bagley. She married Verl Jensen May 15, 1935 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Jane was the only elected city treasurer in Mapleton. She was a member of the J.C. wives civic club and a member of the singing mothers. She was an avid quilter and gardener. Jane was also a state champion in the 4 x 4 relay race. She served in many church calling and was a temple worker for four years.
She is survived by her son, Verl Keith Jensen; daughter, Sharon Jensen Booth; sister, Shirley Cope; 5 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Josephine Bagley; and brother, Daniel Bagley.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
