James Millet Rawle, 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
He was born November 8, 1931 in Morgan, Utah to Richard Simmons and May Millet Rawle. After serving a mission in Ontario, Canada he married Elaine Jessee on June 25, 1953 in the Logan Temple. He served his country in the Korean War as a medic stationed in Germany. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints throughout his life.
He is survived by his dear wife Elaine, and children: Annette Holm, James Jr. (Patricia) Rawle, David Jessee (Julie) Rawle, Robert (Sandy) Rawle, Sue Rawle, Torgunn Pettersen Rawle, Michael (Michelle) Rawle. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda; a son, Roger; a son in law, Keven Holm and a grandson, Nathan Rawle.
A viewing will be held at Wheeler Mortuary 211 E. 200 S. in Springville on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Springville Kolob 7th Ward Chapel, 840 South 400 East in Springville. There will be a viewing held at the church on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service. Interment will be at the Springville City Cemetery.
