Heaven received our greatest hero in the morning hours on October 28th, 2016. James Monroe Dunn III, was born on November 26th, 1972 in Coldwater, Michigan to James Monroe Dunn Jr. and Diane McCoy Dunn. He spent the first years of his life on a dairy farm. At 10 years old, his parents moved him to Orem, Utah. He attended Orem High School through his Junior year then transferred to Uinta Basin High School and graduated in 1990.
James was set up on a blind date in 1991. On that date, he met the love of his life, Rebecca Noss Dunn. They soon became inseparable; from living in tents to owning their own home, the love they had for each other never wavered. They were blessed with the birth of their son Gabrielle James Frost in 1998, and blessed again with their oldest daughter Cheyenne Jordan Russell-Dunn in 1999. Then by shocking surprise, had their youngest in 2005 and named her Julia-Cierra Adams Dunn. They also took on the responsibility of James’ niece Teresa Dunn and his nephew J.R. Dunn.
James owned his own tow truck company and worked in that field for 15 years. He also drove semi-trucks off and on. He loved the sound, smell, and feel of driving semi’s. He loved camping and hunting. The continual battle with heart problems finally claimed him at 9:10 in the morning but he always lives on in our hearts.
