Jaimee Lyn Steed, 35, of Mapleton, UT, passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning, August 14, 2011. Born August 1, 1976, Jaimee Lyn Ellis, married in the Provo Temple to husband Barry James Steed. Children: Rebecca Lyn Woodward-Steed, 14, Kristen Marie Woodward-Steed, 11, Jaren Dwayne Woodward-Steed, 8, James Ty Steed, 3 months. Step-children: Joshua Dennis, Jasmine Pena, Nicole Houghton.
Jaimee loved being a stay at home mom. She was an accomplished singer an loved her music. Her hobbies were camping, boating and skiing. She loved being outdoors.
She is survived by her husband and children; her parents, Ty and Cindi Ellis of Elk Ridge, UT; sister, Megan (Van) Smith; grandparents and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton Stake Center, 970 N 400 E, Mapleton, UT. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mapleton Wheeler Mortuary, 82 W 400 N, Mapleton, and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
