Jack Thornton Wightman age 89 of Springville passed away gracefully Saturday August 27th, with his son Jack Wightman Jr., by his side. Dad was born August 18, 1933 in Parowan, Utah to William Abner Wightman and Jean Thornton Wightman. It is with a heavy heart my Father graduated for his next assignment. He is my best of friend and Dad. I am broken hearted, Peace Be Still in ALL Things, I LOVE YOU DAD.
We had Quite the time navigating this world. I know you are highly prepared to minister to those poor in Spirit. Dad enjoyed hunting, all sports with a passion for golf. He is a good man, I am Proud of my Father, I could tell stories of Dad and he could tell you stories; Newspaper boy, clerk D.R. Wightman Drug Store "now SOS," Utah Natl. Guardsman, United States Air Force "Korean War," Dairyman, Fireman Clark County Fire Dept., Ready mix driver, Real Estate Salesman Pardee Phillips, Winterwood Park, Francisco Park, Encore, Spring Valley master planner, General Sales Manager, V.P. Sales and Marketing Pardee Weyerhaeuser Homes. Century 21 Airport Realty, Wightman Realty and Investments, Pheasant Valley, Son, Brother/Twin, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather YES FRIEND. Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled, He is my Father and friend, he is my Dad.

Dad loved his wife Sharon deeply. He missed Mother every day of his life, married October 1,1958. Dad passed at home on his wishes, completed their Sealing Ordinance to Mom October 1, 2021 Forever with Mom EVERMORE.
