Illa Johnson, age 91 of Springville passed away February 7, 2014. She was born July 28, 1922 in Loa, UT to Fanny Potter and Ernest McClellan.
She married Max Johnson on June 25, 1940. He preceded her in death December 17, 1976.
Illa had a life long love of caring for her family. Her joy in life was cooking and passing down her knowledge to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Johnson, Clark (Jan) Johnson, Illa Kay (Randy) Sperry, Warren (Teresa) Johnson, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one brother Vlynn McClellan. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Morgan Johnson, David Johnson, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
A small service will be held Saturday, February 15, 10:00 am-ll:00 am at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 So. Springville. She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville.
