Ila Ann Sheppard Hulce

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend Ila Ann Hulce passed away in the arms of her children February 14th, 2011. She was reunited with her sweetheart Robert Arthur Hulce for Valentine's Day.



Ila Ann was born October 12, 1947 to Rex and Sylvia Sheppard in Springville, Utah. She grew up in Springville and graduated from Springville High School in 1965. She was sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple to her high school sweetheart Robert Arthur Hulce on August 14th, 1965. They were married for almost 40 years before Robert passed away in 2005. Together they had three children, Brent, Beckie and Brian.



Ila Ann had many hobbies. She loved to collect dolls, clocks, and jewelry. She enjoyed painting, bowling and trips to Wendover. Her greatest love was her family. She had a very kind and generous heart and was always there when we needed her.



Ila Ann worked various jobs including Hickory Kist, RP Shear, and for Provo School District. While she was employed with Provo School District she was the Assistant Manager for Timpview High and Baker for the entire District and their catering business. During that time she was given many awards for her dedicated service.



Ila Ann is survived by her children, Brent (Kara) Hulce of Springville, Beckie (Eric Webb) Rasmussen of Nephi and Brian (Jill) Hulce of Mapleton. She is survived by her grandchildren Sabrina, Morgan, Colby, Andrew, Megan, C.J., Braydon and Jackson. She is also survived by her mother Sylvia Sheppard, siblings Helen (Allen) Perry, Hal (Anita) Sheppard, Roy (Marlene) Sheppard and Donna Johnson. Also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, father Rex and Robert's parents Harry and Joyce.



Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 840 S 400 E, Springville, UT. Friends may call on Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville or Monday one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery
