Helen Tipton Bringhurst passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 in Provo, Utah. She lived a long, productive life. She grew up and lived most of her life in Springville. She worked at Anderson's Home Furnishings and McVoy's Women's Clothing in Springville.
She moved to St. George in 1986 with her husband, Robert. Her family was her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by parents, siblings, her husband and one grandchild. Helen is survived by her six children: Allan R Bringhurst (Diane), William Bringhurst (Janeil), Kristeen Schaugaard (Larry), Kathleen Ostler (Ron), Layne Bringhurst (Jerry), Lisa Kramer (Mike); 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Encompass Home Healthcare and particularly to her nurse, Sara Vaitochi.
Friends and family may call at the Wheeler Mortuary in Mapleton at 82 W 400 N on Friday, September 6th, from 5:30PM - 6:30PM. She will be interred in St. George City Cemetery on Saturday, September 7th.
