Hal Oran Groneman, 70 of Springville, Utah passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Hal was born in Provo, Utah to Shirl Royal Groneman and Marilyn Mecham. He married Linda A. Anderson on December 19, 1973 in Springville, Utah.
Hal served in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in Oakland, California from 1970 to 1973. He also served in the Utah National Guard from 1977 to 1984.
He enjoyed the outdoors, his yard, and riding the side by side. He also enjoyed coaching little league football and baseball. He was an excellent husband and father. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife Linda served as primary teachers.
Hal was survived by Linda Groneman, his wife of 50 years and his three children: Jason Royal Groneman of Springville, Utah; Amber Pilgrim of Orem, Utah; Lindsay Hatfield of Payson, Utah; his brothers Shane Groneman, Jon Groneman and one sister, Tana Groneman. He had two grandchildren.
Funeral and viewing will be held April 8th, 2024. A small viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Wheeler Mortuary in Springville, Utah followed by funeral services at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah. Military rites will also be performed at the graveside.
