Father, grandfather, brother and friend, Glade Kay Tuttle, age 67, passed away at his home in Spanish Fork, Utah, May 28, 2014. Glade Kay was born December 2, 1946 in Provo, Utah, to Glade LaMar Tuttle and Frances Darling Taylor Tuttle. He grew up in Springville and Mapleton.

In high school he excelled in track and football. Following graduation, he attended the College of Southern Utah in Cedar City for one year before being drafted by the United States Army in 1966. After basic training, he was assigned to Paris, France, driving bus for one year, and the remainder of the time in Brussels, Belgium as a legal clerk. Upon his honorable release from the service, he began attending Brigham Young University.

Glade Kay married Virginia Smart on January 23, 1970 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They were blessed with 5 children. After being married 28 years, they were divorced. Later, he married Julie Peery on February 29, 2008. They spent 5 years together and then divorced.

Glade Kay loved fishing, hunting, and especially golf. In recent years, he enjoyed karaoke. He worked many years in sales. He also worked for Wonder Bread, and later, as a commercial truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Rickey Tuttle. He is survived by his five children, Teresa (Ryan) Lundell, Brian (Cyndee) Tuttle, Stephanie (Tyler) Burton, Scott (Carrie) Tuttle, and Sherrie (Jeremy) Walker, 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, sister Sandra (Rick) Oakley, brothers, Steven (Jill) Tuttle, and John Maag.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Hobblecreek Golf Course club house. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville.
