Gerald Albert Allan

Gerald "Jerry" Albert Allan age 69 of Springville, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009. He was born October 17, 1940 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Albert Alvis and Verna Clark Allan. Jerry married Linda Loucille Waterman February 28, 1987 in the Oakland LDS Temple.
Jerry played varsity basketball in San Mateo, CA and graduated high school there. He worked on the Alaska pipeline for 10 years and as a journeyman electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Springville; two daughters, Amy Herrmann of Arizona and Jessica Allan of Springville; his mother of Cedar City; one grandchild; and many brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the LDS Chapel at 1627 W. Cadbury Lane in Springville. There will be a viewing held at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
