Gale Dean Jensen, 50, passed away January 1st, 2008 at home following complications from surgery. Gale was born in Payson, UT to Zelona Lambson and Ellis Jensen on July 27, 1957.
Nothing in Gale's life meant more to him than his family. He was a most devoted son to his mother who passed away a few years ago.
Survived by his loving wife, Katie Williams Jensen, 4 daughters and 2 sons; Melissa (Dave) Pett, Matthew Jensen, Marie (Ben) Graham, Peter Jensen, Jessica Jensen, fiancee (Kerry Green), and Heidi Jensen, and 6 grandchildren which gave him much joy. Also survived by 2 brothers and 1 brother-in-law Roy (Betty) Jensen, Don (Lori) Jensen, and Dave Rodeback. Predeceased by parents, sisters Zella Marie Jensen and Maurine Rodeback. Also survived by Father-in law and Mother-in-law Duaine and Wilma Fullmer Williams and family.
Gale and Katie were married in Springville, UT on June 20, 1984 and this union was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
He was a friend to everyone, and never hesitated to help those in need. He prided himself on his positive nature. His many friends throughout the world and close to home will truly miss him. He exhibited great love of Family, love of God and love of Country.
With great pride he served for 16 years in the United States Army which included Special Forces, Military Intelligence and Airborne specialties which took him throughout the world. He also worked 18 years for Utah State Department of Corrections and Utah County Constable.
Viewing Friday January 4, from 6:00-8:00 at Wheeler Mortuary 211 E 200 S Springville. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2008 with a viewing one hour prior to services at the 4th ward LDS Chapel 1440 E. 900 S. Springville. Interment at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
