Frank T. Loftin, age 72 of Springville, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011. He was born June 15, 1939 in Salina, Utah to Frank Theodore and Gail Kennedy Loftin. He married Coleen Robbins in Las Vegas, NV on October 11, 1982. They were sealed November 20, 2004 in the Provo LDS Temple.
Frank attended schools in Springville and graduated from BYU with a degree in language and business. He served a Spanish American mission serving in Texas and New Mexico. He enjoyed serving in the Provo temple and in various ward callings.
Frank was the owner and operator of his own contracting business. His favorite hobby was fishing and he introduced the sport to his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and anyone who would go with him. Frank was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and sculpting.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen; two sisters: Pat Brinkerhoff (Carvel) and Linda Frost; many nieces and nephews; and was a father to Coleen's children and Grandpa Frank to their grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the LDS Chapel at 996 West Center in Springville. There will be a viewing held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville and Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
