Frank Arthur Brown

Frank Arthur Brown, 82, of Springville, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving eternal companion and children.  He was born June 10, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, to Arthur Francis Brown and Orba May Ellis Brown.  He married his sweetheart, Judith Kay Chesson on August 28, 1970, in the St. George Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to New Zealand, South Mission.  He later served 3 missions with his loving wife in Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas Nevada, and as Member- Support missionaries in their home stake.   He worked faithfully as a Marriage and Family Counselor with extended branches in adoption, and many outreach programs he pioneered.  He was the loving father to 7 children and 21 grandchildren (soon to be 22).  He enjoyed spending time with his family and having new experiences with his close-knit friends in their monthly group dates. He served in many capacities including, bishopric, primary teacher, high priest, and branch president for the Provo Canyon School.  He was faithful in ministering and made you feel loved.

Frank is survived by: his eternal companion, Judith Kay Brown; 2 sisters: Catherine (Ron) Hancock; Sandra (Rich) Douglas; 7 children: Jason Brown of West Jordan, Utah; Shane (Katherine) Brown of Springville, Utah; Julie (Charlie) Pahulu of Melbourne, Florida; Brian (Mich'ele) Brown of Rodman, New York, Laura (Steven) Hawkins of Springville, Utah, Corine (Trevor) Nye of Huntsville, Utah; Heather (Christian) Green of West Haven, Utah; 21 grandchildren.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday evening, October 6th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah 84663. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Spring Creek 21st Ward at 878 West Center in Springville, Utah 84663, with a viewing held beforehand from 9:00 - 10:10 a.m.  Burial will be in the Historic Springville City Cemetery.
