Frances Maag

February 6, 1927 — March 17, 2008

Frances (Fran) Maag 81 of Mapleton, our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt ended her mission here on earth on March 17, 2008. She was a very proud grandma to her 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; she cherished and loved each one of them. Fran also loved her friends and neighbors very much; they were all so good to her.

She was born in Mammoth Utah to Golden and Lavine Taylor. She married Glade Tuttle and had four children together. They were later divorced. She then married Wesley Ike Maag and had one child together.

Fran was a very independent and brave woman. She faced life's challenges with courage and strength making many friends along her journey. No-one ever left Frans house without a full stomach and a big hug and kiss. Fran loved the outdoors, she loved to fish, camp and hunt and was a very avid reader.

Fran worked at Mountain View Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her four children, Sandra (Rick) Oakley of Sandy, Steve (Jill) Tuttle of Springville, Glade Kay (Julie) Tuttle of Payson and John Maag of Mapleton. Her two brothers, Norm (Rena)Taylor of Santaquin, Brook (Deanna) Taylor of Nephi and Sisters Renae (Steve) Ellwood of Roy, Elizabeth (Doug) Yates of Alaska, Gertrude (The Late John) Reilly of St. George. She was preceded in death by her father Golden Taylor, mother Lavine, her sisters Maxine, Beverly, Florence and her son Rick.
