Ervin Mason

Ervin Mason was born in Aurora, Utah May 28, 1931 and passed away on January 20th, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife Katherine Mallard Mason and his four children Karrie Kathrine (Jeff) Clark, Scott Ervin (deceased), Curt E (Sylvia) and Tawnia (Michael) Glidewell. Ervin was the 2nd youngest of 11 children.

Ervin spent his childhood in many locations around Utah but mainly in the Aurora and Fishlake areas. He lived a life of service and was a devoted to spouse and loved by his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ervin was a proud Army veteran serving in the Korean war.  Ervin was a strong member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints and held many callings. His faith in his father in heaven helped him through many struggles he had in his life.

He is also survived by his Grandchildren: Victor Karoich, Derick (Caci) Karcich, Kathy (Les) Martin, Shauna, Amber Mason, Amylia Brown, Matthew Mason, Noah Mason, Crystal (Nate) Srok, Michael (Meta) Glidewell, Celestial (Daniel) Stokes, Candyce (John) Baker and Cassandra (Mike) Goertzen; Great-grandchildren: Kaden, Chandler, Sage, Bronco, Ford, Coraline, Siena, Isabella, Ian, Sophia, Ravena, Cinthia, Edward, Annalisa, Brayden, Jennifer, Alex, Matthew, Gillian, Taen, Kaylee, Ed and Killian.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville.  There will be a viewing at the mortuary from 9:45 to 10:45 prior to the services.
