Erma Lee Beck Bills, 78 of Mapleton, Utah passed away peacefully Sunday, May 19, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born June 22, 1934 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Ross Forsyth and Erma Jane Brown Beck.
She married Richard D. (Dick) Bills of Mapleton, in Spanish Fork on December 31, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple June 24, 1992.
She served in Relief Society, Primary, as a chorister and other various callings in the church; Mapleton Fireman's Auxiliary; and spent countless hours scrapbooking for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She supported them all in various activities. She enjoyed baseball, music and was a member of the Musettes and she rarely missed a Springville High School football game. She worked at Barbizon, Christensen's Dept. Store and for Nebo School District.
Her greatest love was serving her family and hosting dinners, celebrations, especially Sunday evening ice cream watching grandkids and great-grandkids grow and play.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Glen Jay Boyack.
Erma Lee is survived by her husband and her children: Stephen Richard (Jayne Ann) Bills, Douglas Beck (Laurie) Bills, Mary Ann (Paul) Averett and Alan Beck (Karen) Bills; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and counting; 1 brother and 2 sisters: Edward (Barbara Ann) Beck, Jane Ann (Don) Cole and Barbara (Dallas) Adams.
A viewing will be held in her honor Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Mapleton Wheeler Mortuary 82 W. 400 N. from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Mapleton Stake Center, 970 N. 400 E., Mapleton with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
