Elmer E. Dravage of Farmington, NM, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born April 20, 1921 to parents Peter J. and Nettie Dravage. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 thru 1946, receiving a commission as 2nd Lieutenant while in Germany. He also served in the Alaska National Guard 1949 to 1953.
He married Betty Jo Hawks in 1950 while living in Ketchikan, Alaska. She passed away in 1985 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Elmer spent 35 years in Moab, Utah where he met and married Margaret R. Bennett on September 19, 1990.
He is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter, Kathryn; sons, Brian and James; stepdaughters, Lorri and Debra; and multiple grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty from Denver, Colorado.
In Moab, he worked as County Clerk, in the Post Office, and for the Grand County School District as business manager until he retired.
