Elizabeth Harmer, age 96, passed away August 21, 2008 at Utah Valley Regional Hospital due to pneumonia and incidents of age.
She was born January 24, 1912 in Springville, Utah to Albert William Harmer and Eleanor Elizabeth Reynolds. Her mother died when she was only 6 years old. Her brothers and sisters, all deceased were: Clifford Harmer (Annie), Reynolds Harmer (Ida), Wallace Harmer (Wilma), Ida Johnson (Ace). By his second wife, Esther Selek: Burton Harmer (Donna), Nadine Smith (Norman), Lee Harmer (Ruth) Step children : Theda Selek, Walter Selek.
Elizabeth grew up in Springville, graduated from Springville High and attended Brigham Young University where she studied business. She worked for: Provo Abstract, Springville Banking Co. and Chief Deputy to the County Recorder for 33 years.
She was active in the Business and Professional Women's organization and was named as 1981 Woman of the Year. She was active in the LDS Church and held many positions.
She was a devoted "Aunt Lilly" to many nieces and nephews and loved to have them visit and be involved in their lives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 26 at 11:00 A.M at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT. The viewing will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
