Earl LaVon Noble

Earl LaVon Noble, age 89, passed away on August 27, 2007 in Brigham City from causes incident to age. He was born on November 20, 1917 in Rupert, Idaho to J.L. Noble and Laura Belle Pleasant. He married Arlene Laura Ward on October 5, 1938 in Baker, Oregon. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on January 25, 1939.



Earl has resided in Rupert, ID; Denver, CO; Eugene, OR, British Columbia, St. George, Springville, and Brigham City. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints serving in many capacities.



He is survived by one son and two daughters; Larry (Sibyl) Noble of Provo, UT, Patricia (Craig) DeGraff of South Jordan, UT; Deidri of Hawaii, and a son-in law, Kevan Hoopes of St. George; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Jolene.



Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sherwood Hills Meetinghouse, 4000 N. Foothill Drive in Provo. Friends may call from 9:15 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral services under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
