Dustin Harper Diamond, 22, of Springville, died Sunday morning October 28th, 2007 from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident. Dustin was born March 28th, 1985 in the Payson hospital to Phillip Curtis and Shirlee Harper Diamond of Springville.
Dustin's death comes at a time of the year that he held close to his heart. Being in the mountains with the deer and elk was what made him get up each morning. Dustin loved riding his horse "H.B." with his dad through the family ranch in Red Hollow. Hunting with his dad and brother is what Dustin loved the most. Dustin, being the Dallas Cowboys biggest fan, now has a front row seat at the Texas stadium. Dustin was an equipment operator for Geneva Rock where he put in long hours so he could purchase his first home by himself. Now that his earthly work is done, Dustin can concentrate on paving the highway to heaven.
Dustin graduated from Springville High School in 2003. As a member of the FFA Dustin was able to use his knowledge of farming that had been passed on from so many generations before him. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dustin participated in various scouting activities and eventually earned his Eagle Scout Award. Dustin carried a large heart with him that poured love to his family and four beautiful nieces that adore him.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Phillip Curtis and Shirlee Harper Diamond of Springville; two siblings, Kallie (John) Jackson of Spanish Fork, and Cody (Kamee) Diamond of Spanish Fork. His most precious nieces, Madeline, Abigail, and Ella Rose Jackson and Graycee Diamond. His beloved Grandparents; Betty and the late Fred Diamond of Springville; and Ross and Floy Harper of Levan. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss Dustin dearly.
