Our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Doris Ileen Wall passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 20, 2014 due to complications of a stroke.

Ileen was born December 10, 1933 to Glenn and Thelma Diamond of Springville, Utah. She was the oldest of 7 children and shared many happy memories at the homestead in Hobble Creek Canyon. Ileen married the love of her life, Venell Fredrick Wall on October 11, 1952. They were married 61 years and were sealed for all time and eternity in the Mani Temple. Ileen was an avid and accomplished artist, cook, seamstress, and crafter. Ileen worked at Sygnetics Corporation in quality assurance and later in life at Pieced Goods, a craft and material store, where she shared her creative talents and passions with others.

Ileen's greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For almost a decade, Ileen created personalized handmade cards for each of them every month, sending over 300 cards a year. Ileen lit up a room with her funny, quick wit and contagious laughter. She also showed great compassion and service to others, and dedicated many hours to the LDS Relief Society. She was a collector of bird houses and the works of Thomas Kinkade.

Ileen joined her eternal companion, Venell with only a short two month separation. She was reunited with her parents; her daughter Pat; granddaughters Rebecca and Jessica; and her three brothers; Dale, Don, and Ross Diamond. Ileen is survived by her two children & their spouses; Diane & Alvin Castro, Rodney & Tami Wall, 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-grea t -grand children; sisters; Shirley (Dean) Vincent, Beverly Whitney, Wilma (Loren) Sleight & sister-in-law; Betty Diamond.
