Donna Pendleton Watters was reunited with her husband on October 8, 2009.
Born May 21, 1930 in Parowan Utah to Wilford Woodruff and Rachel L Decker Pendleton.
Donna met George Howard Watters at the skating rink and they enjoyed many happy hours there. They married August 5, 1947 and were later sealed with their 5 daughters in the St. George Temple on February 5, 1955. They lived in Parowan for 9 years. They then moved to Southern California where they raised their girls. They relocated to Mapleton Utah in 1998 after George retired.
She was an active member of the Mapleton 14th ward where she enjoyed much association and fellowship. She gratefullly served in the Provo Temple with her husband until his death. She loved her callings, especially that of Visiting Teacher, Relief Society President and Visiting Teacher Supervisor.
She is survived by her daughters: Judith (Mike) Stillman, Janet (Richard) Kraker, Donnetta (Lynn) Patterson, Georgenia (Don) Whitehead and Beverly (Paul) Young; one sister, Alleda (Ray) Little; 40 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Her Eternal Companion in May of 2003; grandson, Gregory Scott Stillman; sister, Elsa Wood and brother, Alton Pendleton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton 14th Ward Chapel, 1316 S Main St, Mapleton. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 N, Mapleton or Monday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
