TOGETHER AGAIN
In Loving memory of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother and a caring friend to all. Della Marie Butler Ferguson passed away peacefully on September 6, 2009. She was born June 2, 1920 in Oakley, Idaho to Hyrum A. and Lois Ann Campbell Butler - (the ninth child of ten.) The family moved to Provo, Utah in 1932. Della attended schools in Idaho, Provo and Stevens-Henager Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Della married Frank Ferguson on July 18, 1935 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple on June 11, 1997. Frank and Della spent many summers boating, fishing and camping at Fish Lake, Utah and Fremont Lake in Wyoming where family and friends would gather to enjoy her delicious fish dinners. Della was an active member of the LDS church and especially loved doing temple work. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, who died October 14, 1995, three brothers, six sisters and a grandson, Brad Ferguson. She is survived by one son, Larry (Connie) Ferguson, Springville, Utah and two daughters, Nila (Val) Peterson, Murray, Utah, Gayle (Frank D.) Bond, Provo, Utah, sister-in-law, June Butler, and brother-in-law, Domingo Rodriguez, 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept 12, 2009 at 1:30 in the Spring Creek Chapel located at 860 E. 200 No., Springville, Utah. Friends and family may visit Friday, Sept 11, 2009 from 6 pm - 8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary at 211 E. 200 So. in Springville or Saturday, Sept 12, 2009 at the church beginning at 12 pm. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund or favorite charity are appreciated.
