Debra Ann Ames

Debra Ann Ames, 54, of Lehi, Utah, passed away Friday, September 23rd, 2022. She was born April 29th, 1968 in Provo, Utah to Levi Robert Ames and Dorothy Hopkins (Ames).

Deb graduated from Springville High School. She worked many years as a nanny in New Jersey and loved the children she helped raise. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and traveled internationally. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served diligently in many callings. She love all animals, especially cats. She was a beloved Aunt to many nephews and nieces.

Deb is survived by her two brothers and one sister: Robert (Jeanice) Ames, of Spanish Fork, Utah; Mary (Mark) Gibson of Eagle Mountain, Utah; Kenneth (Jody) Ames of South Jordan, Utah; nephews and neices: Anthony Gibson, Stephanie (Spencer) Dickson, Misty (Joe) Harrington, Kendra (Eric) Mills,  Chrissy (Nate) Wright, Kevin Gibson, Jacob (Jade) Ames, Michael (Ashley) Ames, Rachel (Rob) Reed, Nathan Ames, Lindsey Ames and 27 great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; Levi Robert Ames and Dorothy Beth Hopkins Ames and her niece, Jennifer Ames.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 11:00 am, in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery; 1997 South 400 East Springville, Utah.  In lieu of flowers, she would appreciate donations to your local animal shelter.
