David H. Nusink, 74, of Springville, Utah passed away at his home on September 27, 2010. He was born in Provo, Utah on May 14, 1936 to John James Nusink and Clara Magdalena Kunze.
He attended schools in Provo and was a graduate of Provo High. He was married to Rada Miner in Springville on August 3, 1956 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
David worked in law enforcement most of his life. He was a member of the Springville police force for 4 years and spent 26 years with the Utah Highway Patrol.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He also loved working with model trains. He was a member of the Ophir Tintic Model Railroad Club for many years.
David is survived by his children Nancy, Brad (Tina), Clair (Susan) all of Springville, and Layne of Lake Shore, Utah; and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rada, grandson Wyatt, and 2 brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11 am at the Kolob Stake Center located at 1230 South 500 East, Springville. Viewings will be held Sunday evening, October 3, from 6 8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary in Springville and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Burial will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
