David Allen W. Lucas passed away August 17, 2015 at his home in Springville Utah due to a long illness. Born December 29, 1944 to Diamond W. and Ethel L. Lucas. After his education in Springville he joined The US navy where he severed honorably till time of his release.
Upon his return home he met his wife Renae. They had two children Christine [stepdaughter] son, Michael. As a family they enjoyed camping, fishing at Payson Lake.
David was employed at Tooele Army Depot for thirty years. He received many recognition of honor for jobs well done. For a short time he also worked for Blaine Evans Trucking.
David's hobbies in life were collecting coins, model cars, baseball cards and football cards.
He was a big fan of Dallas Cowboys. He loved riding his motor bike, the love of his life was his 1993 Chevy pickup.
He enjoyed spending time with his son Michael, through all the challenges they endured David stood by his side.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Reane; parents, one brother, two sisters, and his stepdaughter, Christine.
He is survived by his son, Michael; granddaughter, Jamie; great-grandkids; one brother, Bob [Colleen] of Beaver, UT; sister, Peggy [Tad] California; sister, Diane [Tim] Orem; and Pat Elmore, Carol Mitchell, Nancy Vickrey of Springville, UT.
Following his wishes, a family graveside service will be held August 29, 2015 in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
