David James Gardner, age 58, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on February 3, 1955 to DeLoy James and Leah Pearson Gardner. He was married to MarLynn James in the Logan Temple on September 12, 1975.
He is survived by his six children: Kathryn (Shawn) Massengill, Carolyn (Kevan) Stewart, Lora (Mike) Tolman, Lindsay (Mike) Wellings, Daniel (Rennie) Gardner and Matthew Gardner. He was the grandfather to 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah and his brother, Eric.
David loved his children more than anything. They were his greatest joy. He also loved and was loved by many kind and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville. There will be no public viewing. Graveside services will be held in Hyde Park Utah at 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover final expenses. An account for this purpose has been set up at Central Bank under David's name.
