In loving memory of Daniel Shane Disbrow. Dan was born on September 29, 1973 to Roy and Pauline Disbrow. He died on Jun 9th in his home in Springville. Dan graduated from Mountain View High in Orem, Utah.
He met and married Sheri Ashmore and they had two sons Shane McKay and Derrick Scott. Later the two were divorced and Dan and his boys were alone until he met and married Karen Benner and together they raised the boys till their divorce in 2012. Later he met and proposed to Sheri Jasperson and they were to be married in March 2016.
Dan worked at Frontier Communications as a risk prevention specialist and he was a professional umpire for baseball and football minor leagues. He was an avid sports fan and he loved fishing and hunting with his boys.
Dan is survived by his mother Pauline Volker and his stepfather Ken Volker, his two sons Shane and Natasha who was to give birth to his first granddaughter in July 2015, and Derrick Disbrow; his fiancé' Sheri Jasperson and her 4 children and 2 grandchildren; his sister Kathy Luchini and husband Chip and his sister Tina Kindred and husband Scott and his stepsister Natasha Volker and many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Dan was preceded in death by his sisters Rita and Millie Beth, his father Roy and his grandparents on both sides.
Dan will have services on Friday, June 12th at 11 am at his church at 235 East 550 North in Springville. Dan will be buried in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery (E 129th N, just off Highway 26 (Swan Valley Highway)), Ririe, Idaho, Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2 p.m.
