Craig William Barker

Craig was born in Springville, UT on December 16, 1966 to Jesse Ray and Shirley Barker. On January 24, 2017, Craig passed away after a long struggle with heart failure.

He is survived by his loving mother Shirley Barker and daughter Kayla Barker, brother Steve Barker and sisters, Gayle Watkins (Rick), Kathy Burggraf, Karen Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Ray Barker.

Craig loved creating new and innovative things. His specialty was inventing gadgets and gizmos to make everyday life more convenient. He loved working in his garden and wasn't afraid to think outside the box in his efforts to make it better and more efficient each year. He also enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler with his brother and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. William Caine and the L-VAD team at Intermountain Medical Center for their exceptional care & service over the past few years.

The family would also like to thank Dale and Carol Bartholemew, Lanny and Linda Everett all who have been far more than neighbors they have become family. Their friendship, service and love has been beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30, 12:00 p.m. at the Spring Creek South 5th Ward, 840 East 200 North Springville. Friends may pay their respect at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, on Sunday January 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
