1934~2013
Constance Aulene Banner Bradford (Connie), eternal companion, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend ,died peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Friday, December 13, 2013, in American Fork, Utah, following complications from a fall suffered in October.
Connie was born in Provo, Utah, on December 4, 1934, to Arch and Myrell Banner. She was raised and educated in Springville, Utah. Connie married her high school sweetheart, William Wade Bradford (Wade), in the Salt Lake Temple on August 19, 1953. They were blessed with four beautiful and caring daughters. She was a homemaker and was well known in her neighborhood for her selfless nature and willingness to share her delicious cooking and beautiful homegrown produce. She was happiest serving and always put the needs of others before her own. In addition to raising her own daughters, she and Wade helped to raise a niece and two nephews.
Connie loved spending time with her family; doing handwork, gardening, cooking, and canning; and caring for others. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many capacities, including Relief Society presidencies, Primary, and Cub Scouting.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Yevonne (Morris) Johnson, grandson Nathan Johnson, and parents. She leaves behind three daughtersa�"Rosalyn (Elden) Twitchell, South Jordan, Utah; Lynnette (Karl) Hayes, American Fork, Utah; and Lori (Rick) Bertelsen, Springville, Utaha�"seventeen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren and counting.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the Spring Creek Fourth Ward (400 East 400 North) in Springville, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. preceding the funeral. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
