We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Clay Wilson Mitchell, 28, of Springville Utah, on February 8, 2021. He was born on March 29, 1992 to Amy Graves and Gary Mitchell.
Clay was loved by many, and truly touched everyone he met. He was constantly serving others and was always there for his family. He loved his family, the outdoors, his guns, riding his motorcycle, and most of all his truck. He thrived in IT work and gaming with his group of online friends from around the world. He spent every minute he could taking care of his grandma, Betty Wiley, making sure she had everything she needed. Grandma Betty was his closest friend and favorite person. Clay was kind, humble, approachable, stubborn, and passionate. He was the quiet hero you never knew you needed.
Clay is survived by his parents Amy & Michael Graves of Heber City, UT and Gary Mitchell of Payson, UT his family Marissa (sister) and Rope Ryan, Jordyn Graves (Sister), his grandparents Betty Wiley, Donna and Blaine Mitchell and John and Carol Graves. He is also survived by his best friend Taylor Anderson and his pup Murphy.
He will be missed by his family, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, and friends terribly. We cherish the moments we had with Clay. If he could tell us one thing it would be that we will get through this “one day at a time”.
