Charlotte Amelia Robinson Mecham

Charlotte Amelia Robinson Mecham, 81, of Springville, UT, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Orem, UT. She was born at home on March 29, 1930 in Springville, UT to Walter and Eva Jane Crosby Robinson.



In 1948 she graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary. She married JL Mecham May 11, 1949, at the Robinson family home in Springville, UT. Her work experience began at Grants Department Store, in Provo, UT. After taking a few years to stay at home with her family, she joined her husband at his business, Provo Abstract Company, where she remained for over 30 years. During those years she was able to help many people solve their property related problems.



Charlotte enjoyed the years she spent working with the 11 year old boys (The Trailblazers) in the LDS Primary. She loved to travel around the western states. She was an avid reader.



She is survived by her children: Michele M. (Rick) Dugdale, Matthew A. (Kristin) Mecham and Kevin J. Mecham; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 7 siblings and her husband. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kristine Mecham and her infant daughter, Melinda Lee Mecham.



Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 100 S, Springville, UT. Friends may call Friday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
